Intel Faces Leadership Shake-Up as Chief Commercial Officer Christoph Schell Steps Down

Intel's Chief Commercial Officer Resigns

In a significant development for Intel Corporation, Christoph Schell, the Chief Commercial Officer, has announced his resignation. The decision, effective June 30, was disclosed in an SEC filing this Wednesday. Schell, who also held roles as the general manager of sales, marketing, and communications, as well as executive vice president, cited the pursuit of another career opportunity as his reason for leaving.

Leadership Changes Continue at Intel

This resignation marks the second major leadership change at Intel in recent months. Last month, Lip-Bu Tan was appointed as the new CEO, succeeding Pat Gelsinger who retired in December. During the transition period, David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus served as interim co-CEOs, steering the company through these changes.

Intel's strategic direction under new leadership remains a focal point for the industry.
