Intel Faces Leadership Shake-Up as Chief Commercial Officer Christoph Schell Announces Resignation

Intel's Leadership Changes Continue

In a significant development for Intel Corporation, Christoph Schell, the Chief Commercial Officer, has decided to step down, marking another high-profile departure from the tech giant's leadership team. Schell's resignation, effective June 30, was disclosed in an SEC filing this Wednesday.

Pursuing New Opportunities

Schell, who also held the titles of General Manager of Sales, Marketing, and Communications, and Executive Vice President, cited the pursuit of another career opportunity as the reason for his departure. His decision was communicated to the company on Monday.

A Period of Transition for Intel

This resignation is the latest in a series of leadership changes at Intel. Last month, Lip-Bu Tan was appointed as the new CEO, following the retirement of Pat Gelsinger in December. During the interim period, David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus served as co-CEOs, steering the company through this transitional phase.
