In a bold move to navigate the complexities of global tariffs, India's leading electronics manufacturers, Dixon Technologies and Optiemus, have announced groundbreaking partnerships with Taiwanese technology firms. These collaborations are set to expand their product portfolios and client bases, aligning perfectly with India's 'Make in India' initiative.

Dixon Technologies and Inventec: A Powerhouse Collaboration

Dixon Technologies, under the leadership of Sunil Vachani, has entered into a joint venture with Taiwanese Inventec. This partnership focuses on the manufacturing of notebook PCs, servers, and desktop PC products, including components. Dixon holds a 60% equity stake, promising to leverage its operational efficiency alongside Inventec's technological expertise.

"This joint venture is a milestone for Dixon, marking our entry into the high-growth segments of notebooks and servers," said Atul B Lall, vice chairman of Dixon.

Optiemus and ASRock: Pioneering Motherboard Manufacturing in India

Optiemus Electronics has partnered with Taiwan's ASRock to manufacture motherboards in India. "This partnership is a step towards realizing our vision of cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities in India," stated Ashok Gupta, group chairman of Optiemus.
