In a recent update from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the United States has seen a notable rise in working natural gas inventories. The week ending April 27 witnessed an increase of 107 billion cubic feet (Bcf), elevating the total to 2,041 Bcf.
Annual and Five-Year Comparisons
Despite this weekly uptick, the annual comparison shows a decrease of 435 Bcf. However, the current stockpiles are 5 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,036 Bcf, indicating a stable position within the historical range.
