Weekly Natural Gas Inventory Update
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) released its latest report on Thursday, revealing a 107 billion cubic feet (Bcf) increase in working natural gas storage across the United States for the week ending April 27. This brings the total storage to 2,041 Bcf.
Annual and Five-Year Comparisons
Despite the weekly rise, the figures show a 435 Bcf decrease compared to the same period last year. However, current stockpiles are 5 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,036 Bcf, placing the total working gas within the five-year historical range.
