The eurozone's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained steady at 6.2% in March 2025, mirroring February's figures and showing a slight improvement from 6.5% the previous year, as reported by Eurostat.

Across the European Union, the unemployment rate was stable at 5.8%, with the euro area and the EU recording 10.8 million and 12.9 million unemployed individuals, respectively.

Country-Specific Unemployment Rates

Germany showcased one of the lowest unemployment rates at 3.5%, whereas Spain and Greece reported higher rates of approximately 10.9% and 9.0%, respectively. Youth unemployment in the eurozone saw a marginal decrease to 14.2% in February from 14.3%.
