Eurozone Inflation Unchanged in April
According to a preliminary report by Eurostat released on Friday, the annual inflation rate in the euro area remained steady at 2.2% in April, mirroring March's figures. The monthly inflation rate for April was recorded at 0.6%.

Key Contributors to Inflation
The services sector led the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) with a significant contribution of 3.9%. Following closely were food, alcohol, and tobacco at 3%, and non-energy industrial goods at 0.6%.
Core CPI Insights
The core CPI, which excludes energy, food, alcohol, and tobacco, saw a year-on-year rise of 2.7% and a monthly increase of 1%. Estonia reported the highest inflation rate at 4.4%, while France experienced the lowest at 0.8%.
