Unemployment in Spain Takes a Positive Turn

In a recent report released by the Spanish Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, it was revealed that Spain experienced a notable decrease in unemployment rates by 2.61% in April, equating to 67,420 fewer unemployed individuals compared to the previous month. This brings the total number of unemployed people down to 2,512,718, marking the most significant decline since May 2022.

Sector-Wise Breakdown of Unemployment Rates

The report further detailed the unemployment trends across various economic sectors. The agriculture sector saw a reduction of 3.92%, while the services sector experienced a 2.66% decrease. The construction and industry sectors also witnessed declines, with unemployment dropping by 2.01% and 1.48%, respectively.
