The airline announced full refunds on cancellations and a one-time waiver on rescheduling for those holding defense fare tickets, applicable until May 31, 2025.

Following directives from aviation authorities, Air India and Air India Express have cancelled nearly 140 flights, with several airports temporarily closed. Similar disruptions have been reported by IndiGo, affecting flights in 11 cities across India until May 10, 2025.

These measures come in the wake of Operation Sindoor, India's military response to terror threats, which has led to widespread travel disruptions, affecting over 400 flights and 27 airports.
