US Takes Stand Against Foreign Ownership of Farmland

In a significant step to safeguard national security and preserve the integrity of American agriculture, United States Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has announced a comprehensive ban on farmland purchases by Chinese nationals and other foreign adversaries.
National Farm Security Action Plan Unveiled
During a press conference, Rollins introduced the National Farm Security Action Plan, outlining seven critical measures aimed at protecting the nation's agricultural assets. The highlight of the plan is the immediate prohibition of farmland acquisitions by designated foreign entities and efforts to reclaim lands already purchased.
"Today marks a pivotal moment in our commitment to securing America's agricultural future," Rollins stated. "We are reclaiming control over our farmland to prevent any vulnerabilities that could threaten our food security and national safety."
