After a slight decline in May, China's consumer price index (CPI) experienced a modest increase of 0.1% in June compared to the previous year, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Wednesday.

On a monthly basis, the CPI showed a minor decrease of 0.1%, marking an improvement from the 0.2% drop observed in May. Additionally, the NBS highlighted a year-over-year decrease of 3.6% in the producer price index (PPI), indicating a deceleration in the decline of factory-gate prices.
