US Natural Gas Storage Sees Significant Weekly Increase Amid Annual Decline

US Natural Gas Inventories Report Highlights

Washington, D.C. - The Energy Information Administration (EIA) released its weekly report on Thursday, revealing a notable increase in working gas storage across the United States. For the week ending July 4, inventories reached 3,006 billion cubic feet, marking a net increase of 53 billion cubic feet compared to the previous week.

Despite this weekly uptick, the annual comparison shows a decrease of 184 billion cubic feet. However, current levels remain 173 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 2,833 billion cubic feet, keeping total working gas within the five-year historical range.
