
China's Industrial Production Sees Significant Growth
In a promising sign for the global economy, China's industrial production experienced a 6.8% increase year on year in June, with a 0.5% growth on a monthly basis, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Tuesday.
First Half of the Year Highlights
The first six months of the year saw the total value added of industrial enterprises above the designated size grow by 6.4% year on year. Notably, the equipment manufacturing sector surged by 10.2%, and high-tech manufacturing increased by 9.5%, underscoring the country's shift towards high-value industries.
