In a strategic move to strengthen its foothold in the competitive US automotive market, Volvo Car AB announced plans to commence production of its best-selling XC60 mid-size SUV in the United States by late 2026. The production will take place at Volvo's Ridgeville plant near Charleston, South Carolina.
