Energy Prices Lead the Drop

The decline was primarily driven by a 6.4% fall in energy prices from June 2024, alongside a 0.4% decrease in intermediate goods prices.

Rising Prices in Other Sectors

Despite the overall downturn, consumer goods saw a 3.6% increase, with durable and capital goods both rising by 1.7%, indicating a mixed economic landscape.
