Unprecedented Speed and Capacity

With a staggering processing capacity of 9Tb (terabits) per second, SJC2 can facilitate 350,000 subscribers watching UHD quality video simultaneously. To put this into perspective, it's capable of downloading 281 full HD movies in just one second. This remarkable speed is set to revolutionize internet traffic management in the AI era.

Strategic Connections and Future Plans

SJC2 links 10 regions across seven countries, including Busan in Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. SK Broadband, the sole participant from Korea in this construction project, is poised to expand its global footprint. The company is also involved in the East Asia to North America (E2A) consortium, further solidifying its position as a leading Asian network hub.

Ha Min-yong, SK Broadband’s AI DC business manager, emphasized the company's commitment to enhancing service stability and business scalability to meet the burgeoning demands of the AI era. "We will do our best to secure future growth engines," he stated.
