Lutnick also unveiled significant changes to the U.S. trade policy, including a baseline 10% tariff for small countries. Additionally, he announced that the remaining 25% of trade not covered by the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA) would be subject to new tariffs, signaling a major shift in international trade dynamics.
