US Natural Gas Storage Sees Significant Weekly Increase, Annual Decline Noted by EIA

US Natural Gas Inventories Report

Working gas in storage across the United States reached 3,075 billion cubic feet for the week ending July 18, according to the latest report from the Energy Information Administration (EIA). This represents a net increase of 23 billion cubic feet compared to the previous week.

On an annual basis, however, the figures tell a different story, with a decline of 153 billion cubic feet. Despite this, stockpiles have risen 171 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 2,904 billion cubic feet, keeping the total working gas within the five-year historical range.
