Airbus SE revealed on Wednesday a notable increase in its second-quarter revenue for 2025, reaching €16 billion, a 0.45% rise compared to the previous year. The first half of the year saw the company's revenue ascend by 2.72% to €29.6 billion, showcasing a robust financial performance.

Profit Margins Expand Significantly

The aerospace giant reported a profit of €699 million for the quarter ending June 30, a substantial leap from the €181 million recorded in the same period in 2024. The first six months of 2025 were even more remarkable, with profits soaring by 97% to €1.4 billion. Earnings per share stood at €0.93 for the second quarter and €1.93 for the first half, reflecting the company's strong market position.

Leadership Comments on Tariff Developments

Guillaume Faury, Airbus CEO, commented on the positive impact of the recent EU-US political agreement to eliminate tariffs on civil aircraft, stating, "This zero-tariff approach is a welcome development for our industry. Our 2025 guidance remains unchanged, excluding tariff impacts."
