In a significant move to bolster artificial intelligence infrastructure, OpenAI has announced the establishment of its Stargate project in Norway. This marks the company's first foray into Europe, setting a new benchmark for AI development and collaboration in the region.

Strategic Partnerships and Future Expansions

Collaborating with Nscale Global Holdings Ltd. and Aker ASA, OpenAI's new data center in Norvik is poised to initially offer 230MW of capacity, with plans to expand by an additional 290MW. By the end of 2026, the facility aims to equip 100,000 Nvidia processors, significantly enhancing Europe's AI capabilities.
