White House Confirms Deadline for Trade Agreements
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has announced that the United States is in the final stages of negotiating trade deals with up to 200 countries. The deadline for these agreements is set for midnight tonight. Countries without a deal or a letter of intent will be contacted by the US before the deadline expires.
New Reciprocal Tariffs to Take Effect
Leavitt also revealed that new, country-specific reciprocal tariffs are scheduled to be implemented this Friday. However, exceptions may be granted for nations that finalize their trade agreements with the US in time.
