Italy's Industrial Output Shows Modest Growth

In a recent report released by Istat on Wednesday, Italy's industrial production experienced a 0.2% increase in June compared to the previous month. However, the annual figures tell a different story, with a 0.9% decline in industrial output.

Breaking down the monthly data, the production of intermediate goods saw a 0.2% growth, while energy and capital goods recorded a modest 0.1% increase. On the downside, the output of consumer goods took a hit, dropping by 0.9% from May.
