The leaders adopted a 'Joint Statement for Deepening the Korea-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,' aiming for a future-oriented collaboration. High-level exchanges and defense cooperation were highlighted as key to regional peace and stability.

Economic Cooperation and Infrastructure Development

With both nations being each other's third-largest trading partners, efforts to boost trade were emphasized. Agreements on nuclear power, high-speed railways, and new city development projects underscore the commitment to mutual growth and technological exchange.

Advancing Science and Technology

Collaboration in AI, biotechnology, and energy sectors, along with the establishment of the Korea-Vietnam Critical Minerals Supply Chain Center, aims to leverage Vietnam's rare earth resources and Korea's technological prowess.

Cultural Exchange and Korean Peninsula Peace

The summit also focused on enhancing human and cultural exchanges, with both leaders affirming their commitment to peace on the Korean Peninsula and the resolution of North Korean nuclear issues.
