The employment rate saw a slight increase to 75.3%, up from the previous three-month period, while economic inactivity remained constant at 21%.
Vacancies and Earnings Growth
From May to July 2025, the number of job vacancies dropped by 44,000 to 718,000. Meanwhile, average annual earnings growth in Great Britain was reported at 5.0% for regular earnings (excluding bonuses) and 4.6% for total earnings (including bonuses).
