President Trump Disputes Inflation Claims Linked to Tariffs, Criticizes Goldman Sachs' Predictions

Trump Challenges Goldman Sachs Over Tariff Predictions

United States President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to criticize Goldman Sachs' CEO David Solomon for what he described as the financial institution's "bad prediction" regarding the impact of tariffs on the economy.

"They were wrong about the market repercussions and the tariffs themselves," Trump stated, highlighting the robust state of the nation's economy under the new tariff framework.

Stock Market and Tariff Benefits

Trump also commented on the stock market's performance, calling it "incredible." He argued that tariffs have not led to inflation or other economic issues, contrary to some predictions, and have instead filled the Treasury with "massive amounts of CASH."
