Weekly Storage Update
According to the latest report from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the United States has witnessed a notable increase in natural gas storage. The working gas in storage rose by 56 billion cubic feet in the week ending August 8, reaching a total of 3,186 billion cubic feet.
Annual and Five-Year Comparison
On an annual basis, the storage figures have increased by 79 billion cubic feet. Moreover, the current stockpiles are 196 billion cubic feet above the five-year average of 2,990 billion cubic feet, indicating a robust supply scenario. Despite these increases, the total working gas remains comfortably within the five-year historical range, ensuring stability in the market.
