Berkshire Hathaway Adjusts Its Investment Portfolio
In a significant move, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. has reduced its stake in Apple Inc. by 6.7%, selling approximately 20 million shares to adjust its holding to 280 million shares, as revealed in a recent filing.
Strategic Exits and New Entries
The company has also made the decision to completely exit its position in T-Mobile US, Inc. and slightly reduced its stake in Bank of America by about 4%, or 26.3 million shares. In a bold new direction, Berkshire Hathaway has invested in UnitedHealth Group Inc., acquiring 5 million shares valued at around $1.6 billion.
Expanding the Investment Horizon
Further diversifying its portfolio, Berkshire has taken a stake in Nucor Corporation, purchasing 6.6 million shares, and has increased its investment in Chevron Corporation by adding 3.4 million shares to its existing stake.
