Swiss Industrial Output Dips Slightly in Second Quarter

According to the latest report from the Federal Statistical Office, Switzerland's industrial production experienced a marginal decline of 0.1% in the second quarter compared to the same period last year.

Sector-Specific Performance Highlights

The secondary sector, encompassing both industry and construction, saw a more pronounced decrease of 0.4% on an annual basis. Notably, the mining and quarrying sector was hit the hardest, with a significant 2.2% drop year over year.
