The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has reported a notable increase in the United States' natural gas inventories. For the week ending April 27, working natural gas in storage rose by 107 billion cubic feet (Bcf), reaching a total of 2,041 Bcf.
Annual Comparison and Five-Year Average
Despite this weekly surge, the annual comparison shows a decline of 435 Bcf. However, the current stockpiles are 5 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,036 Bcf, placing the total working gas within the five-year historical range.
