The core CPI, which excludes volatile items such as energy, food, alcohol, and tobacco, saw a year-on-year increase of 2.7% and a monthly rise of 1%.

Inflation rates varied across the eurozone, with Estonia experiencing the highest rate at 4.4%, while France recorded the lowest at just 0.8%.
