The Federal Statistical Office (BFS) reported a significant shift in Switzerland's inflation rate, dropping from 0.3% to 0% in April. The consumer price index (CPI) remained steady at 107.5 points, indicating no change from March.

Core Inflation Insights
Core inflation, excluding volatile elements like energy and fresh food, saw a slight increase of 0.1% from the previous month and 0.6% year-on-year. The harmonized index also rose by 0.7% monthly and 0.3% compared to April 2024.
