France's Trade Deficit Shows Improvement in March

In a positive turn of events, France's trade deficit decreased to €6.25 billion in March from a revised €7.7 billion in February, as reported by the DSECE. This improvement highlights a promising direction for the country's trade balance.

Exports and Imports on the Rise

March saw a notable 5.6% increase in exports, totaling €52.5 billion, alongside a 2.3% rise in imports, which reached €58.8 billion. These figures reflect a dynamic shift in France's trade dynamics.

Energy and Manufactured Goods Balance

The energy balance experienced a slight decline, moving to a negative €4.9 billion, down by €0.8 billion. Conversely, the manufactured goods balance showed significant improvement, reducing its deficit by €2.2 billion to negative €3.1 billion.
