The Mumbai metropolitan region has emerged as the frontrunner in land deals during the first half of 2025, with a staggering 24 transactions covering over 433 acres. The total value of these deals is estimated at Rs 11,137 crore, showcasing the city's booming real estate sector.

National Land Deal Overview

An Anarock report highlights that India witnessed 76 land deals spanning 2,898 acres in H1 2025, with a total transaction value of Rs 30,885 crore. This activity hints at a revenue potential of approximately Rs 1.5 lakh crore, indicating a robust growth in the land deal market.

Year-on-Year Growth

The volume of land transacted in the first half of 2025 has already surpassed the total deals of 2024 by 1.2 times, with 2024 recording 133 deals for 2,515 acres. This remarkable growth underscores the increasing interest and investment in India's real estate sector.
