South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun has recently sold his luxurious apartment in Seongsu-dong's Galleria Foret, making a significant profit. This sale comes at a time when the actor is embroiled in multiple legal disputes, including a high-profile damages lawsuit.

The Korea Times reports that the sale, which yielded a 165% profit, was finalized on July 3. The property, boasting a net floor area of 170.98 square meters, was purchased by Kim in 2014.

Legal Troubles Mount for the Star

Kim faces a 7.3 billion won damages lawsuit from an advertiser, alongside provisional seizures on his assets by other companies. These legal challenges have sparked speculation about the actor's financial stability.

Kim's legal team has denied allegations of an underage relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron, emphasizing that the claims are baseless and have been falsely propagated.

Controversy and Denials

The controversy began with an interview aired by Garo Sero Institute, featuring a woman claiming to be Kim Sae Ron's aunt. Kim's agency, Gold Medalist, has firmly denied these allegations, stating the relationship occurred when Kim Sae Ron was an adult.

Further complicating matters, Kim Sae Ron's family accused Kim of pressuring her to repay 700 million won, a claim Kim has also denied.

Kim Sae Ron, who passed away at the age of 24, was once a rising star in South Korea. Her career, however, faced setbacks following a 2022 DUI incident.
