US Natural Gas Inventories Rise

Working gas in storage across the United States reached 3,123 billion cubic feet in the week ending July 25, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA). This represents a net increase of 48 billion cubic feet from the previous week.

Annual and Five-Year Comparisons

On an annual basis, the figure saw a decline of 123 billion cubic feet. However, compared to the five-year average of 2,928 billion cubic feet, stockpiles have increased by 195 billion cubic feet. The total working gas remains within the five-year historical range.
